Trail Report February 10 2015

February 10, 2015 By AuSable Valley Snowmobile Association

Grayling Trail Report:
DATE:
2/10/15
BASE: 2-3″ south more north
PAST 24 Hrs: none
CONDITION: fair to good

Greetings Sledders, We are happy to report that everyone that hitched their respective wagons with us over the weekend reported good to better than that rides. This includes one of our favorite Ohio groups that long ago figured out that Friday you ride North and West and Saturday your best bet is to head East young man head East, and they did and found good trails together with a side bar into off-trail adventures. Okay let’s talk about this weekend. For the most part you will find good trails especially early on, say Friday, where the trails will be tight. Hell everything is going to be tight considering the temps they are talking about. Brings back memories of last year. Bring both sets of long johns. The segment that continues to bother me is #7 South of M-72 and North of 4 mile. We are grooming it but it’s pretty snirty and hopefully the snow in the forecast will help. And I’m calling this section fair. All of the other trails are good, with snirt here and there and again a little new snow will help. Our grooming is back to a regular schedule which means heads up on the Lovells trail during the daytime. That’s about it for now Ride Often and Please Be Safe, Keith, Sandy and The Girls
