Greetings Sledders,
We have a better idea as to what to expect weather wise this weekend. It looks like scattered rain and freezing rain will start late in the afternoon Saturday and change over to snow sometime during the night. Snow totals don’t look to be great but the wind is supposed to be on blast Sunday.
Hopefully the rain will be limited and won’t be enough to take the trails back to the ice age again. We have no way of knowing and will have to wait and see.
We have focused on bringing all the reserve snow on the side of the trails into the center in anticipation of this and it’s my hope that it all shakes out in our favor. After all we are due for Mother Nature to cut us a break.
Grooming is on schedule and the trails are currently very good.
