Greetings Sledders,
Quick update. The trails are a mix of snow and dirt. The snow that we laid down last Saturday was about all that we’ve had to work with. We picked up a little bit of fresh snow here and there but far from enough to allow us to keep panning. Unfortunately there isn’t much to look forward to in the long range forecast either. There’s enough snow on the ground to support sledding it’s just not located on the trails where we need it the most.
There looks to be a few days in the near future that will be above freezing which will add insult to injury and any amount of traffic on the trails at that point could easily finish them off.
I’m going to go with poor to fair with a little hesitancy on the fair part. If you are driving any amount of distance to get here and trail riding is your deal I would think twice about it.
