We have been busy preparing the trail for the upcoming snowmobile season. Brushing was done on all 89 miles of trails using our brush cutter installed on our newest tractor (D2). We are now in the process of replacing and updating all our signage. Our goal is to have the trail in tip top condition by the opening of snowmobile season. Presently the trails are pretty rough due to all the ORV traffic this year. Tractor (D1) has been to Baders for repairs for some time now. We expect it to be back with it refurbished track system for trouble free operation in the 2019-20 snowmobile season. When D1 returns D2 will go in for repairs to it’s track syctem and should be back in time to start grooming in December if snow conditions warrant.
Please join us for our next club meeting. We are holding them at the Grayling Airport terminal building. Next meeting will be November 7th, 2019 at 7 pm.
