Trail Conditions 2/16/18

February 16, 2018 By AuSable Valley Snowmobile Association

Greetings,

Not my typical intro I’ll admit, but there’s not much sledding going on in this area right now, or from what the forecast is showing, in the immediate future either.

According to said forecast in the next 10 days 3 are supposed to be just marginally below freezing, 2 are looking like rain and the rest are Sunny. There’s nothing that looks remotely like weather that will repair the damages done by yesterday’s blast furnace.

There’s lots of dirt showing at all of the crossings and water is beginning to pond as well. Wish I had better news but it is what it is and unfortunately wishing hasn’t done so pretty good this year.

Time to move a groomer away from my shop door and replace it with one of the Walleye boats in order to get ready for a season that is generally more reliable than our recent Winters.

We will kick out another report to either sign off or let you know if we get a significant snow event.

Ride Often and Please Be Safe,

Keith, Sandy and The Girls of Fay’s Motel Grayling MI
