Trail Conditions 2/6

February 6, 2018 By AuSable Valley Snowmobile Association

Greetings Sledders,

We’ve seen some improvement in conditions and as near as I can tell from the crossings I’d say we are at a solid fair South and I have to think maybe a tad better North.

We didn’t get enough snow to fire up the groomers yet. There are times when it’s better to let sled traffic lay down the snow and without getting into details, this is one of those times.

Depth of snow is only one driver of the decision to groom, the other is traffic which we will be watching throughout the week and we will likely groom this coming weekend as a result.

There isn’t much in the way of new snow in the forecast so what we’ve got is it for awhile. Go figure.

I will let you know what the grooming schedule is going to be later in the week but plan on Friday and Saturday nights as of right now

Ride Often and Please Be Safe,

       Keith, Sandy and The Girls
