update 12/16/2020

December 17, 2020 By AuSable Valley Snowmobile Association

Greetings Sledders,

We picked up about 7″ of heavy wet stuff so far and it looks like we could get maybe another inch or two tonight.

The groomers are panning and considering the temperature forecast the panning efforts could be a good start to a base. Keep in mind this is the first real snowfall that we’ve had so far and there currently is no base. Basically there’s snow on the trails but you will be counting rocks along the way. I’d call it fair, early season riding right now, and how the trails hold up will depend largely on traffic.

There’s not much snow in the forecast so I’m not sure when we will get back out to groom after tonight.

Be Safe,

Keith,

AuSable Valley Snowmobile Assoc.
